Presenting the 7th Annual Beyond the PhD and Postdoctoral Career Conference
Beyond the PhD and Postdoctoral Career Conference is an annual event designed to inspire the USC doctoral community to pursue fulfilling, innovative, entrepreneurial careers in academia and industry. The diverse and accomplished array of speakers at Beyond the PhD provide USC doctoral candidates and postdoctoral scholars with strategies for presenting their unique research skills, scholarly perspectives, and teaching experiences on the job market and beyond.
The event will feature interdisciplinary keynote panels, field-specific industry and academic careers sessions, and career workshops for PhD students and postdocs. A photographer will be present to take complimentary professional headshots for attendees. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
Currently enrolled graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, staff, and faculty from all fields of research at USC are welcome attend. The first 100 registrants will recieve two raffle tickets, for 2x the chance of winning an iPad!
